We have done this work ourselves. We know that most of the day is spent in Word. And we know that quality means meeting the standards of your own firm or legal department, not some generic standard.

CASUS is developed by CASUS Technologies AG in Zurich. The company was founded in 2020 by Fabian Staub and Céleste Urech. CASUS is a spin-off from the University of St. Gallen.

We want to make legal work easier where it happens: in documents, in Word and in conversations with clients or business teams. CASUS helps with recurring review and writing tasks, so you can give more attention to the questions that need your judgment.

We develop CASUS together with law firms and in-house legal teams that use it every day. Legal expertise, product development and engineering work closely together here. Feedback from daily practice helps us improve features and support new tasks in a focused way.

Yes. Together, we identify tasks that are suited to CASUS, show your team how to get started and help with questions about using it. Even if you do not have your own IT department, you can discuss the right starting point with us.

LAWLIFT acquired the CASUS Create product line in November 2025. CASUS has since focused on its AI workspace for legal work. The acquisition concerned CASUS Create.
